‘Bike to School’ Campaign launched for a healthier and greener tomorrow!

August 10, 2022

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam – August 10, 2022

Around the world, we see young people rallying to protect our planet. They are not only safeguarding our dwindling trees, air, and natural resources, but they are also fighting to save their lives. In an ever-altering world – we want to be a part of this change too.

And today, we are trying something new!

As part of our model school safety zone program,  Slow Zones, Safe Zones, we are launching an international fundraising campaign to provide 70 new bicycles for low-income students to be able to bike to and from school. This year, our program is increasingly encouraging students and their families to use sustainable means of transport — paving the way for healthier and greener cities.

We believe in finding a local solution to a global problem.

Our objective through the “Bike to school” campaign, is to enable students to access healthier and safer modes of transport. Together, we are riding our bikes for a sustainable future, starting with Pleiku City, Vietnam. But to achieve our goal, we need your help to raise funds by the end of this month.

How You Can Help:

  • Donate Funds: support with whole or part of the USD 8,000 fundraising goal so that we can purchase new bicycles for students.
  • In-Kind Contribution: support with whole or part of the 70 new bicycles donation for our students to use
  • Connections: connect us with potential partners and donors for In-Kind contributions and funds

Are you interested in helping us reach our goal? Please contact Khe Nguyen, Development Coordinator at AIP Foundation at khe.nguyen@aipf-vietnam.org to find out how you can save lives today.

On behalf of our team and our beneficiaries, please know that your support never goes unnoticed.

Thank you.
